FT1000 - the seventh annual ranking, provided recently by Financial Times and Statista - includes 1000 European companies with the highest revenue growth between 2018 and 2021.
Out of the 34 analyzed countries, here are top 10 with the highest number of fast-growers:

2️⃣ Germany - 217
3️⃣ United Kingdom - 154
4️⃣ France - 137
5️⃣ Poland - 48
6️⃣ Spain - 38
7️⃣ Sweden - 17
8️⃣ Netherlands - 14
9️⃣ Hungary - 14
🔟 Lithuania - 11
Finland ranked 15th with six companies, sharing the position with Portugal and Switzerland.
The ranking changes when we compare countries based on the number of companies per population size. Although Italy remains a leader, Lithuania, Cyprus, and Iceland overtake Germany and the UK.
Here is the list of the top 10 European countries with the highest number of fastest-growing companies per million citizens:

🔟 Sweden - 1.63
With 1.27 companies per million people, Poland ranked 14th, while Finland came in 16th with 1.08. It is worth noting that Poland outperformed Finland in both rankings.
The analyzed years were particularly challenging for many businesses due to pandemic restrictions and disruptions in global supply chains. However, it was a thriving period for innovative technology and e-commerce companies.
